I have an "02 Dodge Durango and just started making a ticking or tapping sound. the sound seems to be coming from the engine. It is a 4x4. I have never had any trouble with it until now. any idea on what may be causing this?

My wife's 99 Sentra has the GA16DE engine, and it sucks oil. We use ring seal regularly because it doesn't pay to hone and re-ring it. The ring seal keeps it from buring oil and hiccuping when accelerating. However, the plugs do get fouled and I change them regularly. The problem is that sometimes for no apparent reason the car won't start. It will turn over without firing for an eternity and floods. If I push the pedal to the floor I can get the EFI to stop feeding so much fuel and the cylinders dry out. Then I back off to 1/2 throttle, and very slowly it will start to hesitantly fire. Eventually I can coax it into running, but it slowly revs up and then runs perfectly smooth. Changing the plugs doesn't seem to help this problem. Someone told me that the engine coolant temp sensor can also cause fuel mixture problems. Is this true? Is it worth my time to try this fix?

I've taken the plug off of the bottom of the evaporator and drained it. I think the drain line is clogged but am unable to find the line.

I have a 91 eagle talon with over 150,000k miles on it that i just bought. The stock oil pressure gauge reads normal at 2000rpm plus but drops to about 1/4 at idle of around 800rpm. Is this normal for it to fluctuate and is it time to do something more to the motor? Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated. ( my engine is a 2.0l dohc non-turbo model)

What is wrong with my transmission?
I have a 1992 Ford Escort and we cannot figure out what the problem is. When the car is cold it wants to shift gears, but when it warms up there is nothing. Changing the tranny fluid and filter helped for about a minute. Nothing smells burnt and the fluid looks fine. The transmission guy that I have asked says it is the shift selenoids, but I do not know if that could be the only problem with it. Any ideas?

My husband has not been at home and will have stayed out of town for another one year. Because no one drives his car, his car was dead after his gone for a period of time. Do I need to recharge the car and run often to keep it going when the battery died? If I do not recharge the battery, the battery will be un-rechargeable? And I need to buy a new battery when he comes back? What are harms to the car if its battery dies out and is not to be recharged?

The clutch master cylinder is leaking and the clutch pedal feels very spongy ( meaning when i put my foot down on the clutch, it either comes back to the normal position very slow or it doesnt come back period.

I bought a new clutch master cylinder and i want to replace it. However, I do not want to get any of the old darkish hydraulic fluid in touch with the new clutch master cylinder

(a) How do i get all the clutch fluid out of the system. Please note that I have located the bleeder and it is very accessable

(b) Is there anything that i should do with the new Clutch Master Cylinder before i go ahead and install it. The guy at autozone tole me that i should run some new brak fluid through it before i go ahead and instsll it. If Yes, what is the proper way to run fluid through this.

c) What is the proper way to bleed the system.

Thank you very much for your time
