the trny went out and i put a new one in it for a different year but now it will not move any sugestions

I am replacing the clutch master cylinder & draining out all the old fluid and putting in new. The specs call for DOT 3 break fluid. The bottle that I got says meets DOT 3 / DOT 4 standards. I am assuming this will work, could someone confirm.

I have a 454 in it, and thought that the engine could be heating up the brake lines, so i moved them away. I also replaced the master cylinder a year ago. Could it be the proportioning valve?

My 97 mountaineer windows wern't working figured out it was broken wires,Now all the wondows and door locks work except front door lock. Any ideas what that could be? also my electric antena sometime goes up and sometimes down 1/2 way while the motor contines to make noise. Any mechanics out there?

I'm having problems when i accelerate, it feels like its running out of gas. It was only doing it sometimes, but now its doing more and more almost all the time. I have replaced the fuel filter and it's still the same. Some people also told me it could be the fuel injectors. I have a new engine so I dont know if they used the old fuel injectors. I replaced the CAP AND ROTOR and still the same.The only other thing I can think of, is the air flow sensor but I dont want to replace it and not be it ($110).
Im gonna take it to the dealer today after work to see if they know for sure. Any ideas??

I replaced both sides and installed new brake shoes and had the drums turned at a parts store. If you did all this work how much would you charge the person? Just for the labor itself. Any help would be appriciated thank you.

I've noticed that the Cooling Engine Fan seems to come on a lot on my Fiesta Zetec 1.25, it is fairly noisey! The car seems to hold temperature, although is it normal for my fan to be in operation for so long. No other car i've owned uses the fan as much as this fiesta. I'd prefer it if it wouldn't use my fan so much. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference if I am driving at 30/40 with low revs on empty roads of if i'm in traffic - it still comes on.

On Friday night i hit what they call a road gator( a long strip from a semi's tire) going about 90mph and it screwed up the front of my car... I need a new front Kit, radiator, compressor coil, fans, battery and it bent my frame front and center about 3.5 inches... Will they total it because of the frame?? My car is a Honda Civic, does the construction of the car matter?? The guy at the body shop said the insurance adjuster won't total it even though the frame is bent badly because its a Honda??? Why would that matter???

My car is a Mitsubishi Galant 89 model.
Recently it decided not to start up and killing all power with it when attempting to startup meaning not even the clock works. I have checked all the fuses and have found none blown. I have attempted to jump start the car but it still refuses to start killing all power when attempting to start the engine, there is also sparks from the battery terminal in the car. So next I tried disconnecting the battery in the car and jump starting without the car's battery. I can hear clicking now, but still cant get the car cranking up. There seems to be a blackout power drain for a split second when trying to start. I guess the clicking means my solenoids are working, battery not connected means the battery is not at fault.
Does all this isolate it down to the alternator or starter?
How do I test for these?

hey guys and girls, heres the problem my mates got a 1992 subaru legacy gt(2l turbo 4wd) and it goes pritty hard BUT its got a speed limiter that stops it going over 180kp/h which kinda suxs.
so just wanted 2 no if any1 has got the ecu diagram or has removed the speed limiter 4 a 92 legacy gt

Here is a question I was curious about for a while. I was wondering, what exactly did a Semi. (Transport, whatever) have for a charging system (alternator or generator), and a guestemate as to roughly how long they last befor needing sevice (100,000 miles, 2, 3?).

I've a 99 camry LE, with 77000 miles on it. The check engine light started showing up yesterday. The funny thing is that the alarm also went off yesterday right before i saw the check engine light. I was surprised when i heard the alarm go off. Since i did know what the reason was, i left it alone. But when i started the car, may be one hour later, i saw the check engine light. What do you think could be the problem? How much would it cost to do a diagnostic check? Please help me. I don't want to get ripped off.

when i was cleaning my engine, i unpluged a hose cause it was in the way and now i cant find whewre it went, it was the hose coming out of the big round coming out of the wall, it is a vaccum hose , the truck is an 84 s-10

I understand that driving a lot of short trips is hard on a vehicle. About 10 months ago I started taking the bus to work and it is about 2 miles from my house to the Park & Ride. Recently, I have noticed that sometimes my car will not start and today I was idling at the red light and the car just shut off. I was able to start it again but I'm really nervous.

I was thinking of driving it longer in the mornings and afternoons but was curious if (1) that would improve the situation without taking it to the mechanic and (2) how long a trip is long enough. If it matters, I have a 2001 Mercedes CLK320 with approximately 84K miles.

is it advisable to use premium gas on a brand new car, ?

What's the effect if i always mix premium and unleaded everytime i fuel my car?... i mean the first week i use premium then on the next week i use unleaded

what can u say about shell's "V_POWER" fuel? is it ok to mixed it with any gasoline fuel?
