I already replace the EGR valve

Yes we did replace the fuel filter.. Can it be vacuum hose. The car only has 57,000 original miles but it sat for probably 15 years

also changed the oil, checked the trans fluid, changed spark plugs but not the wires, flushed radiator

if the fuel was not cleanout before it sat for 15 yrs the fuel could have gel up inside the throttle body try getting some throttle body cleaner and cleaning it

alot of things bro like bad sparkplugs. maybe it needs an oil change or oil or transmission fluid or check out ur catalatic converter. i have a 86 buick lesabre did not want to keep idling. c what happens is oil gets backed up like a toleiet needs to be clean out or also ur filter cap under the hood might need a new one................

Have you checked the fuel filter and possibly the fuel pump this can keep it from idling. Also check your ignition wires

i have a 1988 olds,and theres an adapter down on the intake and the egr valve bolts to it.i found a small vacuum leak on the lower gasket.maybe you can check the gasket,where the adapter bolts to.thats where mine is.

If you can't find a vacuum leak, the carburator jets are all plugged up with old evaporated gas.
