Take it to the dealer and have them run a computer diagnostic on it.

It may be nothing more than a short in the wire. Or you may have something wrong with your ABS system. They put the warning light there for a reason, after all!

The ABS light is just like your Check Engine Light and can mean any host of things. It must be read for a code and tested to determine where the fault lies.

One thing you do know is that ABS is no longer functional. It won't impact the ability of your brakes to work, just no anti-locking feature and you must modulate the brake pedal during emergency stops.

Get it looked at by a shop that understands electronics(Not Midas).

Most of the ABS lights are because of a faulty sensor on your brakes. It is really easy to fix and not very expensive. Usually around 50bucks. Take it to a trusted brake specialists and get the work done. It will not affect your braking though and is not unsafe. If you are annoyed about the light and refuse to get it fixed just throw some black electrical tape over it. LOL JK get it looked at.

check the brake fluid level first and if full you have a bad wheel sensor causing the light to be on, you will have to fix the bad wheel sensor.
