Hi, someone stole my manual and I was wondering what steps are needed to take off the doors. I am pretty sure a fuse must be removed - where is the fuse box and which fuse also if there is anything else I should know please let me know.
Oh ya does anyone else find second gear to be a bit difficult in the cold if not let me know so I can have the dealer look at it.
Thanks

I own a 1970 bmw, and if I need replacement parts to do a slight restoration; would bmw reproduce them if they don't normally make those parts anymore? Also in general, would a car company reproduce discontinued parts for a car that's 30-40 years old? And if they don't where could someone find replacement parts. Including BODY Parts, like fenders, bumpers, etc......

I have a 1991 Chevy Caprice and after I drive for a certain limit of time the car will not turn back on after being turned off. This happened to me and my neighbor seen me in trouble so he came over and banged on the bottom of the fuel cell while I started it. It started right up but it does the same immediately after I shut it off. He told me the fuel pump is old and going out. The fuel filter was changed less than 2,000 miles ago. Is this true that I will need a new fuel pump soon or could it be the relay to the fuel pump???

I've been getting condensation on the inside of my car windshield that's causing the seatbelts to mold (gross, I know) and I was told it's a broken heating core. What is a heating core? Can I get the problem fixed at Jiffy Lube or something like that?

My car is at 102,000. The manual makes no mention of the belt needing changed. Ever? My last car, a Honda CR-V did make mention of it, got the belt changed and 10,000 miles later a teenager cutting school slid on some snow and totalled it :-(. Do I need to do anything now?

I put on the defroster and the ice on the outside melts but the inside of the windshield is just saturated. This doesn't happen to the other 2 cars that are outside with my car. I checked all the windows and doors and they're all completely shut. It's happened for a while now and the seat belts are actually beginning to grow mold. Why is this happening...

I slid into a wall in my '07 Maxima (I know, I know), and now the front left tire points out at the top by about 3/4". The dealer has replaced the bent strut and rim, but it's not fixed. They are changing the spindle and repacking the bearings tomorrow, but is this correct? The wall did jut out at the bottom, so the bottom portion of the tire took all of the impact. They are suggesting the tie rods next and then the upper and lower arms, but none of these looked damaged. Anybody out there know car anatomy that could perhaps tell me the part(s) most likely to be damaged by this type of impact? There is no vibration in the steering wheel (even before the repairs), so the guy said this rules out the lower arm (I think). There has to be a way to narrow it down without the process of replacement-and-elimination...... Any ideas are greatly appreciated. BTW, I know it was a very stupid thing to do, so please only comment on possible solutions. Thank you.

Car dealer is claiming I fried my onboard computer by changing my battery and won't cover repairs under a warranty I purchased from them. The MR2 wouldn't start so tried to jump start it. That didn't work so I replaced the battery with a similar one. After I put the new battery in, it still didn't start. I have never heard of frying an onboard computer by jumpstarting or changing a battery. Is there any truth in what the dealer claims or am I getting scammed?
