A week ago I filled my car up with anti-freeze coolant, and one week later I get in my car and the low coolant light comes on, I check the anti-freeze and it's damn near gone, one week is too short of a time, I was thinking maybe my anti-freeze was leaking out but I always check under the car and the anti-freeze is never on the ground, so it's not a leak, I was driving and the coolant temparature scale near the odometer kept rising almost near Hot, why i even put more anti-freeze in it it was still rising to hot, I was thinking maybe the car needs to be turned off aand let the anti-freeze get to the engine how long does it take, btw my car's a 1991 Chevy Beretta!

All the prices are double from what i can tell!! For example 32.12 for a thermostat 6.00 for the gasket, fanfuse 5.99, 250.00 for radiator. And a 35.00 shop fee? The final cost was 892.37. 1995 camaro

i own a 1988 Ford Escort LX and the heater core went out. if any one can help me out with some directions on how to change the heater core in it, it would be very Helpful. i live in Joliet, IL and it is quite cold. or if anyone close by knows how and is intrested PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! Thanks!

The heater is actually working but only blows out a little bit of heat through the defrost. When I change the dial to floor, or any other setting, nothing happens. It will work normal about 1 time out of 25. Any idea whats the deal?

I STARTED MY CAR IN THE MORNING WITH REMOTE STARTER AFTER 5 MINS IS USUALLY SHUTS OFF.. THEN IT WOULD START AGAIN. FIRST I TURNED THE KEY ONCE ALL THE LIGHTS CAME ON THEN I TURNED IT TO START AND IT WENT COMPLETELY DEAD!! THE ALARM LIGHT IS GOING CRAZY UNTIL I CLICK ON IT A FEW TIMES THEN IT STOPS. NOW THE CAR ONLY STARTS WHEN I GET A JUMP START FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE. WHAT IS WRONG??? I KEEP THINKING MAYBE THE REMOTE STARTER IS CAUSING THE CAR FROM STARTING BECAUSE ALL THE LOCKS AND LIGHTS WORK AND ARE NOT DIM..MY PARENTS AND EVERYONE ELSE TELLS ME ITS THE BATTERY.. How do you peak and tune a C.B.? I have a radio in my truck, a Uniden, with a Palomar 225. I know it gets out, but I know it can do better. I don't have a C.B. Shop around in my area, and want to do it myself. Any ideas on where to start?

Was told the wastegate was bad and that there was a way to get around using it. Was told that I could basically "unhook" the turbo, is this possible and how do you do it?

A few weeks ago I noticed my temperature guage starting to lean towards hot when the car was idling. Driving, especially on interstate is fine.

The fan wasnt working, so I replaced the fan (new casing, blade, motor, the works), which is currently still working and turning when its supposed to.

I replaced the thermostat, even though the old one was fine.

The radiator fluid had turned brownish, so I had the radiator flushed out. The mechanic said it the radiator is fine and didnt need replacing, that the flush was all it needed.

What is there left that it could be?

standard 92 mazda stalling at idle. RPMs drop real low after engaging clutch or shifting to neutral. Sometimes it stalls. Can always start back up if reengage the clutch. Sometimes it just idles REAL low and eventually get back to around 800rpm. other than idle car runs 100%.

My heat and AC will only blow if I set it to blow out at a rate of 3 or higher. The low settings of 1 and 2 don't work. I thought I would need to buy a whole new heating/ac unit but someone told me all I need is a regulator or sensor or something. Is this true?

ok, the truck has been running rough lately and the other day it did not start, so we jumped it ad that worked. then, it decided it was going to be hard to start, and we thought maybe it was just how cold it has been. it would turn over and everything, but would not start, then after a few times of trying to get it started, it just wouldnt turn anymore. the next day it would turn again, but then wouldnt start and couldnt get it to turn over again, what could this be
?
