Sometimes when cold i have a job to start it .I have had the deisel system checked a none return valve fitted and its been on a laptop to find the fault with no joy is there a relay or control box for the glow plugs if so where can i find it.THANKES

If the first gear synchro pop's out once in a while is that really bad? How much would it be to be fixed? I am looking on buying a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX AWD but the guy said thats the only problem and i wanna know how much would it be to fix it. He wants $6,000 for it and has 104K. Is it worth it? Its a very nice car clean pain out side and inside is well keep. He said he let it go for $5,500 but he would throw in ported cliped 20G turbo with a ported manifold with an external wastgate for $6,000. Thanks alot to everyone tha answeres my question.

The place that is torn was under a lot of tension and and it is kind of hard to pull them together to put back in place. I need something that will bond the 2 pieces back into place un noticeable from the backside in which people cannot see

I rocked back and forth and got free of the mound. I now have developed a problem when starting my car. It starts but with a bang. I turn the key and it starts, bangs loudly and is fine. I can feel the bang under my feet somewhere. Does anyone know what I might have damaged? Car is okay otherwise...no alignment problems, just the initial bang. I am concerned. Oh, it is a 2000 Ford Focus.

I bought a car that has a chip with spider cracks on the windshield right in my line of vision. So I called up a windshield place and asked about getting it replaced and they said they prefer to do repairs because replacing the windshield makes it unsafe to drive. They said in case of an accident the replaced windshield will pop out and cause the roof of the car to fall in or send the passengers out the window because only the original factory seal prevents this. Please advise if this is indeed the case. I want to make the right decision and get this taken care of immediately.

I drive a 1995 Chrysler Concorde. I started my car this morning. Transmission fluid started spewing out from underneath the front of the car to the ground. It seems to be too much for a bad line.

I have an 04 Toyota Corolla S, 4 cyl. The check engine light is on and it is running rough. I have pulled the code with a generic OTC handheld scanner. It says it's for bank 1 sensor 1 heater circuit high. I replaced the upstream O2S with a generic Bosch O2S. Not even two days went by and the code returned. If you have any suggestions for me please help.

My car is a 1986 Grand Marquis and the brakes are acting up. I have to push them to the floor to make the car stop at all. I replaced the fluid a few days ago because it was nearly out, let it bleed for a while, but now it's doing it again. I thought I noticed a leak at the bottom. Should I replace the fluid reservoir? Thoughts? Thanks! Do-it-yourself-ers are much appreciated.

They replaced the battery, so now the radio is locked up & I called a Chevy dealer up & they wouldn't give me the code. Any chance of getting it unlocked or will I have to buy a new radio? I have the 1st two 3-digit series of #'s I need & that's it...

I have a 2003 Toyota Echo (P175/65R14) it came w/ intregrity Goodyear tires, but our local Firestone is having a huge tire sale. I don't know what brand to get. I want to get a GOOD set of tires b/c I'll be moving 8 hours from home next fall & I be driving home every now and then, but also don't want anything outragously expensive. Just good tires & at good price.

just got the coolant system flushed & oil pan gasket changed & when i got the car back it was leaking antifreeze a little-i took it back to the place & the people said that a hose had a small hole in it-so i had to spend another $200 to get that fixed- but the heater still isnt blowing very warm air & the temp gage sits a little on the cool side-it doesnt overheat- anyone know what this might be?- also is it possible that this place messed the car up?? it never leaked or ran cold before this- thanks

My 94 Eddie Bauer Bronco was rear ended and the bumper had to be replaced. We took it to the shop 1/5/07 and got it back 2/9/07
The shop said it took so long because they couldn't find the right
bumper brackets. During this time the owner's son wanted to buy our truck. We didn't want to sell. When we got the truck back my husband thought the engine looked different. There was nothing wrong with the engine before we took the truck in. Now the oil pressure drops to zero and it makes a noise. Did they mess with our engine? Could they have exchanged it? How can we find out?

The area where I live just experienced a HUGE snowstorm and my car was surrounded by 3-4 feet of snow. I had a hell of a time trying to get it out yesterday, and ever since, it has been bouncing slightly...even shaking. The faster I go, the more it shakes. It's not a flat.....I've been checking it for the past 24 hours. A few people told me that built up ice around the wheels could be causing it.

I mean ... there may be a need for certain applications but... as far as I'm concerned ... on most fixtures ... auto lights .... home use ... etc ... the old straight head screwdriver nd philips head are good enough for 99% of most items. The combo straight and phillips head is the best . Why keep changing ?

It also makes the same noise from the backend of the car when i make a sharp turn. I had the brakes checked by Midas and they said it wasnt the brakes. Does anyone know what this may be caused by. I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus. Thank you

I have replaced the MAF, IAC, MAP, PCV, air filter, spark plugs and spark plug wires. About 4 months ago the fuel pump and fuel filter were replaced. It will idle roughly when still cold but it will not idle at all after it starts to warm up. It runs reasonably good at highway speed. This truck has 150,000 miles on it.

This fuel rail seems to be 2 rails connected by a crossover tube on one end. It leaks where the tube is connected to the fuel rail. Are there O-rings that can be replaced or can a hose be put on to replace the metal tube? This is a 3.3L in a 1991 Dynasty.

My 1997 SR5 4runner gas millage has been getting bad for the last 12 months. It is only 15-18mpg now compared to 22-24mpg few years ago. I just replaced spark plugs and air filter but the condition does not seem to improve much. Other than this gas consumption problem, the engine still performs excellently with 158K miles on it.

A week ago, the check engine light came on on my '98 Honda Civic Dx. I took it to a shop and Autozone to get the test and both told me it was the o2 sensor after the cat converter. I replaced it yesterday and that took care of the check engine light. On my way to work this morning the darn check engine light came on again. What could be the problem?

I own a 95 mitsubishi eclypse.... I have gotten the oxygen sensor and another sensor changed... what happens is that i will drive about 45 min sometimes short or longer and the car will just shut off.... i will wait about 45 minutes and it will start again.... when it shuts off it just does that shuts off no warning no nothing.... when i turn the key it is like it wants to start but wont.... the last time i had my friend pull the throttle but he didnt smell any gas or anything when i tryed starting it.... i have brought it to 5 garage's and no one can get it to stop running... they will run it for hours and it wont do anything can someone explain what it might be?

I have a 1991 Lexus Ls400
My power streeing starts messing up when i push in on the brakes. But when i accelerate it is fine. But as i said when i push the brakes it is though i have no power steering.
I checked the fluid and it has plenty.
If you have any ideas of what this is please let me know!
