My brakes are squeaking on my Mazda. It happens a lot more when it's wet outside. Is this something I need to get checked out?

Well, it could be one of two things: If you had your breaks replaced recently, it's the brake pads that are squeaking, and all you need to do is be patient while the break pads begin to wear down a little bit. Then, the squeaking will stop.

The second thing is that if it's been a while since the brakes were serviced, you may need to replced you brake pads. I would also recommend that you check the brake fluid to make sure that it's a proper level.

You should get your squeaky brakes checked out as soon as possible. If you don't it may end up costing you more money! Your brakes sound as if they're worn, which causes the squeaking, and if you wait too long they will have to replace even more of the brake parts.

The squeaking could also be coming from the tires, especially if you are low on air. No matter what the cause, it pays to maintain your car. Regular maintenance saves you money in the long run besides adding to your safety.

Many brakes on newer vehicles are set up to cause a squeaking noise when they are ready to be replaced. If you cannot check it yourself take it into a brake place

in case you understand that the pads were replaced, probability is they are basically breaking in. yet in case the keep did not allow you to understand, any time you've brakes replaced you need to "take it elementary" for the first 500 miles as to no longer overheat them. if youcontinual the vehicle like known right now, the pads receives warm and reason a squeak that isn't bypass away. maximum shops have a guaranty, so if the noise persists, basically take it again and characteristic it regarded at.

your brakes are getting wet,or its the squeeler is hitting the rotors,or they are worn down to the rivets and scraping the rotors.
