It goes into second, and tackles to 4-k . Does not shift into third gear...... Tranny fluid is clean and full...

Please help..

We have tried replacing all electronics such as a CDI coil, plug, plug wire etc. We actually took a carb off of a twin bike that ran great and installed it on mine and no difference. Check the valves and ok, checked the compression and ok.

Do paint codes for automotvie paint work the same way as for house paint, as in if I have a paint code for a particular color and take it to automotive paint store can they match the color?

I have a 2004 GMC Savana and the low fuel light came on even though the Gas tank is full. I tried disconecting the Negitive cable on my Battery to reset the computer but no luck. Any idea whats next. Oh , and it just went out of warranty a couple of months ago. Thanks for any ideas

And for everyone who answered my question rudely, the deer actually did hit my car, how would I run into the deer if it hit on my drivers side door?? That is impossible. I think a few of you need to think before you answer question.

94 Olds 88 I just got the power steering pump replaced, I did not have this problem prior. It has stalled while driving while in motion, while stopped at a red light..basically its not very descriminating on when it does this..but it always starts right back up and is good to go, generally after two times of stalling it doesn't do it anymore. I am taking it back to the mechanic who put the ps pump on it tomorrow but would like to compare your ideas with whatever he decides to tell me.

I have a Ford Focus and the brakes sound like a train coming to a halt. The dealer I brought it to to have it looked at says the brakes are fine. What do you suggest so that they brakes don't squeak? Or is it inevitable?

Hey everyone, i live in california and i just bought a used '89 camry, and the trunk lock isnt working, i can only open the trunk from lifting the tab under the driver seat, i was wondering how much it would cost just to replace the trunk lock or repair it? and where should i go to do this?

and how much do hub caps cost? and where can i buy them i just want good ones to replace the cracked ones, its not for looks.

A new racing module off of ebay states simply unplug your IAT and plug into it their diod, then tape up and you're ready to roll. Do not plug back in the IAT sensor because you can't with this in place. Anyone done this yet??

i just paid 85.00 for front brakes on my 88 honda, was that a fair price. My mechanic seems like a nice guy. I also need to struts to be installed in the front, he said they are about 65 each, making parts 130 and he would charge me 90 for labor total of 220 to have them installed.

I have a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire and the "SERVICE" light came on when I shifted into gear... When I first shifted into gear my driving lights indicator blinked about 9 or 10 times and then the Service light came on. Does anybody have a clue what this means???
I called my neighbor who is a mechanic at work and he said he'll have to look it up and he'll get back to me when he gets home on SUNDAY lol!! but I should drive it, the problem whatever it is isn't a big deal...Thank you for any help

My 1st instinct is just to take it in for a tune-up an dsee how that goes but if I am gonna spend some money so I want it to be worthwhile. The car is kinda shuttering and almost feels like it is going stall at stops. The check engine light comes on and off every once in a while too. Is there a typical diagnostic I can ask for (and about how much would that cost)?
