I have an 04 Toyota Corolla S, 4 cyl. The check engine light is on and it is running rough. I have pulled the code with a generic OTC handheld scanner. It says it's for bank 1 sensor 1 heater circuit high. I replaced the upstream O2S with a generic Bosch O2S. Not even two days went by and the code returned. If you have any suggestions for me please help.

There is more to the circuit than the O2. First you must make sure everything else is OK before throwing parts at a code.

If the o2s heater control indicates high, it sounds like a bad spark plug pouring raw gas down the exhaust. It ignites from the exhaust from the other cylinders and burns out the o2 sensor. Change your spark plugs and make sure your air filter is not plugged up.
