EVERY time we get out of it we get shocked. I have tried running searches about this, but as you can imagine I only get results about "shocks". Anybody have any idea why this is happening & what we can do about it?? It has gotten to the point that my husband has made a game of trying to get out of it without getting shocked. This can not be normal. Not his behavior, the shocking. THANKS! :-)

GMC Jimmy 1998 was going 3 miles an hour at intersection and truck kind of jumped forward 3 times and steering wheel shook. The brake pedal went to the floor, was able to recover by putting in neutral and giving it gas, pumped right back up Where can we get the codes cheap.

I am interested in buying a new carburator for my chevy truck, but I want the most fuel efficient carburator between these two brands.

It is a 350 cu in stock engine with a 4 bbl quadrajet carburator, that isn`t in a very good condition (The engine is very accelerated for a v8, the automatic choke doesn`t work and vibrates a little when iddling). If you have a brand and a model it is better. Please tell me in your answer what is your experience with the particular carburator you are recomending.

I have an 04 Toyota Matrix with no problems. I recently plugged in my cell phone charger, which I've used many times in the same car, and my radio went off and both the AC jack and radio no longer work. The display itself still works, but none of the buttons for the radio work. I checked the fuses and they all SEEM fine, but I'm really not sure how to tell. So, did I blow a fuse (which is an easy fix) or screw up my radio and AC jack? Thanks for any help

I have an 1999 Chrysler Town & Country, and as of lately it has been acting up. Please give me your opinions. It will start o.k. then I drive down the road and push on the brakes, and it stalls out. Then it starts up, I drive down the road, and hit the brakes and it continuously does this? Is it because of the cold? Do I need a new battery? The SES light is on due to an EGR problem. Could this be why? PLEASE HELP!

Aside from adding a nice shine, and maybe claiming to have a UV inhibitor, does Car Wax really do anything to protect modern car finishes?

I own a 1995 GMC pickup that does not require emission testing. It has 110,000 miles and the exhaust is rusting away. It has a single exhaust system and I would like dual exhaust. I keep hearing about this co-chip but nobody here knows much about it.

I have a VW polo 1998 1.4 petrol, R.reg. Bought in July 2006 at an auction. Great car... but had a slight problem on the 1st month. oil leak - replaced a "sump" and it worked fine. Now... im experiancing a loud noise from the engine... sounds like a tracktor.
It's not only noise, but the engine has loss of power. When im going say 20mph and i put my foot down on the accelerator it sounds like its choking on petrol. Its used to be a fast bugger... but now i get over-taken by sunday drivers!!

Have replaced obvious things - Spark plugs, Distributor cap. No difference. Im goin to replace cable because the probem is getting on my nerves and need to get it done - before it gets worse! If anyone has had/got the same problem please contact me?? and even better.... if you know the problem!!!
regards, Aled Parry

The "maintenance needed" light blinks for about 30 seconds after turning the car on, does this mean the car needs maintanence or does it always just blink for 30 seconds. Its a 2003 Honda civic?
Car runs good too.

My car won't start. It just clicks. The lights still work, but are dim. I got my battery, and alternator replaced about 3 years ago, and I'm thinking that I got my starter replaced too, but I'm not possitive on that one. Based on what I told a coworker who works as a part time mechanic, he told me it sounds like my battery, but I'm just not sure. I am going to try to get it to jump start, if it does, I can assume it's my battery, right? If it doesn't, then I can assume it's the starter? Is that correct?

1996 Saturn SL1, 4 cylinder, 1.8 liter engine. 106,000 miles on it.....If the repair price is accurate, no way am I dumping that much into this car, but before I go and lock myself down with payments for a new car, I want to make sure that this is an accurate estimate and not just some place trying to rip me off....

I have a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero. Two days ago I went to leave class and my car wouldn't start. I thought it might have been because I hardly had any gas and it was quite cold out. I tinkered with it and tried to start it a few times and it finally started. I drove to the gas station and filled up and went home.

The next day I left for school and it wouldn't start again. Again, I tried to start it a few times and it eventually started. I thought maybe I an issue with the fuel lines,... I drove to school and it started up just fine when I went home.

This morning I drove to school; no problems starting my car. I went on break and school and drove my car; still no problems. Then when I went to leave after class, IT WOULDN'T START. I tried for hours and it still won't start.

My battery is fine. Everything lights up and works. It's not the starter. Could it be a corroded wire? How should I go about trying to fix it. I don't get paid until next week. :(
