Meaning, there is problem with air loss at One or more struts,
I replaced mine my self,the age of your Lincoln,this will show up.
One morning you will go to your car and it will be sitting on your
tires,I had rather overhaul Eng,than replace one of these.
Cost 1000 dollars per axle.at Dealer
Autozone One Strut 325 Dollars Ea.
I bought mine new 175 Dollars x 4 for 700 dollars, off E-bay and including
my time, I have about 3000 Dollars in Vehicle,I would like to give
a better picture to You,But can"t

I had an 81 Towncar and I believe that the quality ride was the air that I had to put into the rear shocks, I put air in and then a similar light went out, and the ride got better.

that is the "air-ride" system, you wioll want to have it checked by a mechanic with a diagnostic computer.
your car has an air compressor- you cant fill any tank or anything and you have an air shock on each wheel that keeps the car level at all times.

It means you probably have a leak somewhere in the system and your air shocks are not doing as they should. Have it checked out as soon as you can.
