my bmw X3 rear window is down and won't go back up. I hear the window motor trying to return it to the closed(up) position.

My pick up was rear ended and as a result the frame was bent down probably 1 inch and only on one side. Should I take it to a frame shop and have it straightened or should I find an identical piece and cut out the bad piece keeping in mind a good fit and good welds, weld a new piece in?? This is a 95 chevy 4x4 short box regular cab. The frame is bent right under where the cab and bed come together, pass. side. It is my winter beater so I dont really want to spend a bunch. Any ideas?

i have a 1990 Dodge omni and the middle (3th) brake light when out so i tho it was the bulb but the bulb was good so i tho maybe the fuse blow out but the fuse is good to i have replaced the fuse and the bulb anyways but it still wont light up what could it be? please kelp

there are loads of black spots on the paintwork on my car, I don't think they are tar spots as I have tried many different tar removers and none of them work. I tried AUTO GLYM paint restorer and it got rid of one of them but there are loads and I was wondering if anybody knows a good product to get rid of them. Yep I am a woman and blonde, so I need help !

I called holley and they said they have nothing! I do not see anything in the Jegs catolog or the other top hot rod cats so please does anyone know what parts might cross reference from a chevy to an olds that could beef up my 82 Cutlass 260 V8? I would like a hotter coil and inside the distributor parts. I would like headers but it is really tight under the hood so I am not even thinking of an intake but if you know where I can get one that would hide under my hood with out me having to cut up the hood, I would appreciate it! I want to consider cams and rockers too. THANKS! Your help is greatly appreciated!

droping a junkyard 350 into a 68 chevelle temporarily til my big block is done. the intake code says it's a 73 motor, but it has an HEI distributor in it from who-knows-where. do i have ignition wiring issues (burning, melting) with the power increase? i've heard horror stories of fried harnesses, etc, if no modifications or rewiring is done.

I just read that someone put on new brake pads and they both came with 'sensor cables', but the ones taken off only had one! I can't imagine what they are talking about. The wear indicator tang? Are they a cable or an electrical wire that gets hookd to a connector?

And the scary part is that they are telling the guy to cut the extra one off!?

Sorry, I haven't been around the new stuff. Maybe technology moved on well past me...

i had the ecm scanned and when the scanner was plugged in, it wouold not show no readings. please advise on what i can do to check and see why it will not allow a reading. the truck runs awesome and excellent fuel mileage. please advise on this important issue.

I justed started my car and put in reverse. It does not want to move. I pushed the car back (placing it in neutral) and put into drive.

The car moves when placed in drive. It first struggles to go but then it catches it self and then drives fine. At first I thought it was some bad gas I placed in the car (4 month old gas that I had in my garage) but know I am wondering if it something more serious.

Any suggestions?

I'm replacing my brake pads but only one wheel has pad sensor, but both new pads (each pair) has a sensor cable.

The new pads are identical to the old pads except for this difference,

What do I do with the spare sensor cable on the new pad?
