Get a fresh battery. One with plenty of cold cranking amps. Have a block heater installed to if you don't have one yet. Keep it plugged in if the weather is cold. Make sure your car is in good running condition. Any problem you have will only become worse in cold weather. Be sure your anti-freeze/water mixture is good to in the radiator. You don't want your radiator to freeze up. New radiators are not cheap. Where I live the temperatures and wind chills can get to - 50 below zero and colder and my vehicles start without a problem. One of which is an 87 Ford. Good luck.

What kind of oil do you have in your car. It may be too thick might try 5w30 oil. usually when oil is thick your engine will barely turn over. Also cold weather can 86 a battery if it is on the verge of going bad. good luck.
