for 05 pontiac G6, the lock and unlock signals keep flashing in yellow colors eventhough the car is locked.?

My friend told me that the factory alarm should be flashing red color by the dashboard, but not flashing the yellow color by the instrument panel. Anyone has any suggestions?

i have an 05 g6 and my dash lite is yellow also. i think your friend is mistaken on the color the alarm lite is

Mine always flashes yellow on the instument panel.
