i have a 1990 Dodge omni and the middle (3th) brake light when out so i tho it was the bulb but the bulb was good so i tho maybe the fuse blow out but the fuse is good to i have replaced the fuse and the bulb anyways but it still wont light up what could it be? please kelp

i own a repair shop,and its probably the socket that the bulb goes in,these was known to give problems once in a while ,check it with a test light to see if it gets power to it when the brake pedal is pushed down,i have had them in the shop before that had bad sockets on them you may be able to repair that socket ,if it didn't melt from over heating,some of them did that,,good luck i hope this help,s

It needs to have a wire from each of the other 2 stoplights for it to work properly. Check these other 2 connections.

try taking the light out some times there known to go bad at the connector in the back of the light housing

Check for a bad or loose connection between the wires.

check brake light switch at brake pedal

it's probably a broken wire
