the heater will work sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. when i am at a stop it blows nothing but cold air and when i give it gas it will start blowing hot air and sometimes when i give it gas it doesn't blow hot air at all. I thought it would be the heater core but there is not any water leaking from it. I now it is not my knobs. i wonder if it could be a air vent or somthing

I would like if someone could tell me how to perform a full tune up on an automobile step by step. I have an idea that it involves an oil change and a couple other things. I would like to know what those other things are and how they are done so that I can try them on my car. Any websites would be helpful. Thanks in advance to everyone helping me out!

I have replaced the front pads on my Audi 80 with non genuine pads, the brake warning light continues to flash as there isn't a wear bar/wire in the pads I fitted and so the system assumes that it is broken and the light on the dash flashes continuously. Is there a way to fool the system so that the warning light stops flashing?

I have a Honda Accord and for the past 2 days, it's gone off at random times. Yesterday morning at about 7 and then in the middle of the night last night at 12:30...I don't know if it goes off while I'm at work because I can't hear it from my office. But could it be that a battery somewhere is dying or that my sensor is acting up?

I park my car in the morning and take it again in the evening. When I give accelerator it does not raise or move, instead it jerks until I raise it for some time and the engine becomes warm. After sometime it is OK... but I am facing the problem when I start the car after a long time - say 8 to 9 hours. Mine is an Opel Corsa 2000

2000 E320 Mercedes 4 matic station wagon. My mechanic says 10,000 but he changes his cars at 3 and 5,000. My husband says let it go and the shop will let you know when it needs it? He just blew an engine is his car last year because the oil was gone, so I don't take his advise where cars are concerned. Your help is greatly appreciated.

A co-worker has a car that's the make/model my brother is looking for, she says the flywheel might be the reason its just sitting in her yard right now, not going anywhere. (She's not even sure what a flywheel is or does.)

What's a flywheel & what does it do?

The car is an 1985 Bonneville.

Thank you.

Hey guys,

I have put diesel (4.7 litres) in my petrol car - I have filled up to the brim, and plan on re-filling every time I hit 3/4 tank for about a couple of months. the petrol tank is approx 40 litres.

My question is - will this be enough to stop any serious damage to my car? I'm kinda worried now that I've done this before asking for advice.

HELP!
