Need to know more about what "don't work". Are the turn signals coming on and just not flashing? Do they not come on at all? Is it the same problem on all 4 corners, or just one or 2? If they do absolutely nothing, the problem is probably a turn signal switch. If you have little to no mechanical ability, you'd be best off taking this problem to the shop. If they come on and don't flash on all 4 corners, the problem is probably the flasher, under the dash or in the fuse panel. If the problem is intermittant and differant on all corners at differant times, you have a short somewhere in the car, possibly not even related to the turn signals. If the simple fixes don't take care of this, you need to consult a trained professional. Trust me, I've tried to chase down shorts before and they can be a real headache. Try some of these simple fixes first and then consult the pro's.

you aren't specific enough.
do the bulbs light but not blink?
That could be that you need a new flasher unit.
do the bulbs not light at all?
That could be the switch, fuse or a broken wire.

I'm not a mechanic, but try checking your fuses. You can find out where it is and which particular one to seek and replace if needed by referring to your owner's manual. You can also find a reference at you local library.

I have to agree that they must have mist reconnecting your ground .As a result of that you probably have a lot of blown fuses. They will keep blowing as long as your ground is not reconnected.

you need to replace the flasher under the dashboard. ask for it at the parts house, and they will tell you where it is located.
