I'm trying to remove the screw used in the rear license plate, but the screw head was cut off. I was wondering how to remove the screw if there is no screw head.

I have an 85 f-150 4x4 300 6 cyl.The motor is shot and was wondering if there is a v-8 that would bolt up to everything in its place, or if motor mounts transmission and all would have to be changed? So I guess my main question would be,should I look for another 300 straight 6 or move up to a v-8? Thanks

I have a 95 Mitsubishi Montero SR with a lot of miles on it. The check engine light no longer means anything after 150,000 miles, but it drives me crazy. It comes on every 50,000 miles. Where do I reset it at & how much trouble is it?

Had the wheels balanced and it doesn't vibrate at high speed no more. Now the steering wheel shudders when i put the brake on at anything over 30! It's only just gone through it's MOT so i'm excluding serious stuff for now but could it be that the brake pads have worn unevenly and now the front is balanced it shows?

my car dashboard cover and material under it crack together, i believe that, if i can use any material to join the cover( i.e. do not use any loose top cover to hide the crack), then your expert or any advice welcome. i believe the cover was made from vinyl (those who know mercedes car of 260E model will know better).

I took some of the molding off of my car to give it a smoother look, but now i can't get the adhesive off. I've tried everything...soap, simple green, tar remover, and adhesive remover. It won't come off no matter what i do. Does anyone know what will take it off without messing up my paint job????

I have a 1988 Chevy Celebrity with 2.8L Fuel-Injected V6 with auto tranny, I have checked the fluid level and it is fine. When coming out of 1st into 2nd gear and turning the wheel to the right the transmission whines pretty bad. Sometimes I get roughshifting when it is hot. Is the tranny going out?

also when u r cmoing to a turn or a red light that turns green n u are slowing down, i heard that u just stay in the same gear when using the 321 downshift gears in an automatic tranmission car, u then accelerate slowly to get going again, is this true
