The only thing is to find a good dash. Or one of those ABS plastic covers and when trimmed properly and glued down with windshield adhesive from outside of the car you cannot tell. Some shops can fill and repair the vinyl but latter above the instrument cluster it cracks again. Buttering the dash with armor-all was not the best thing for those cars when they were new.

I'm not sure that you can reapir it without it looking like crap. I think your best bet would be to try and find a used one in good condition, although that will be tough also give the age of the car. But try ebay. You might get lucky. Otherwise, you will just have to cover up the ugly cracked one with an aftermarket dash cap. Good luck.

There truly isn't a way to fix it and making it look good. From my experience, fixing plastics and making them look good won't happen unless the plastic will be painted over or if you have a special tool to give it the same texture it had before. Your best, and most cost effective bet is to find a nice one in a junkyard or on eBay. You may have to look around a few junkyards, but it's best to call first to see if they have your model car in their yard.

Well, you can A. buy a new dash, B. order a cover, or C. make one yourself. You'll not effectively mend the old one.
