i have a 98 olds achieva and it went in to a realy big puddle and died got pulled out and there was water in the engine now i changed the oil and put an oil detergint in it befor i did all that there was a realy loud knocking after its still there im afraid to drive it couse i dont want to make it worse what things could be wrong with it and what can i cheak to fix this proble please help me out with some answer im in need of this car so i can go back and forth to work

When I am stopped at a light, it jerks like it is trying to go. Sometimes it almost dies when I push on the accelerator to go. I had my fuel filter changed yesterday and it didnt help. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be???

The abs light is on..under the dash, the fuse is good BUT DOES NOT LIGHT UP with the tester. I did not see any other fuses under the hood...they all tested good. Any ideas?

I was driving down the road, shifting between 2nd & 3rd when my clutch just went soft and I couldn't place the car back in gear. Clearly the possible solution would be to get a new clutch, but I'm curious to know if there could be other causes, like point A being disconnected to point B. What do you think? Thanks

Tried everything...blocks under rear wheels of truck are the only thing that I can come up with to provide the lift that the ultimate trailer hitch and sway bars need. Is there any kind of ramp to put at the rear of the rear tires to temporaily lift hitch enough to go over the slope?

Sometime the car, Acura 2.5 TL, starts right away, other times starter does not even crank. I turn ignition off and retry couple of times and it starts. The maximum I had to try is about four times. Cold or warm start does not make a difference. I thought it was battery and have changed the battery. It did not make any difference even with the new battery. Could it be coil?
