Well I would say Chevy. The duramax is very powerfull and combined with the Alison transmission and the comfort of a chevy I think that if you drive both chevy and ford the difference is very noticable. Plus Ford and Dodge has tons of transmission problems.

dodge would be my first choice. i know lotta guys that drive dodges and they are more trouble free than the others. the inline 6 cummins is a proven engine. i personally drove one over 200k in abusive conditions and it never looked back. currently i drive an 03 ford with just over 110 k but not without problems. as far as a chevy, duramax is junk. buy a dodge

My friend has a Ford Diesel dual truck. He loves it, and it runs great with great extras.

Opinions dont matter. You are buying the truck right? How about maintenence cost, resale, creature comforts, safety, hauling capacity, what are YOU going to do with it? Gas mileage I can tell you.. None!! Good luck !

depends on your use of pkup. ford has 60000mi bumper to bumper . 100000mi on moter w100.00 ded after b to b runs out we have 4 i ton 4X4 fords w plows they can take alicking an keep on ticking .we use them comm for snow removal .hope this helps
