Ok, Bad news,
What happened is water got into the intake and then into the cylinders witch caused you to bend a connecting rod or ruened the connecting rod bearings. Id gess the first "bent connecting rod. New engine. sorry!
Water does not compress so when it gets in the cylinders some thing has to give.

You may have gotten water in the cylinders. Bad news. The pistons are for compressing fuel / air mixture, not liquid. Too much stress on the piston = too much on the connecting rod = bent rod or hole in the piston. Sounds like the engine has had it. Donate the car to a charity, write off at highest value on your income tax. The cost of repair would be more than the cost of a comparable vehicle.

Way that everyone else is going, you did a bad thing by trying to drive thru water. Basically sucking in water into that engine is the worst that can happen. Hence your current situation. It swallowed soo much water, that the engine got hydro locked. And thus bent some internal parts of your engine. To fix, is either repair it, or replace it. Either way isn't that cheap. Good luck.

Sounds like you got some water in the electronics. Something could have shorted out. Dry out engine with compressed air, check spark to all cylinders. I wouldnt add a detergeant to the oil, a basic oil change is fine. Also, does your exhaust smell rich? It could be a coil pack is not firing.

1 thing you could try and thats take all your plugs out and crank the engine to blow out the water in the pistons.if you drove it much, you could have ruin a bearing.take down the oil pan and check the bearings and clean out the pan and while you got the pan droped, check the oil pump,to be sure theres no water in it.good luck.

when the water got into the engine the thing tried to combust therefore without that it threw the rods...my best thing to tell ya my friend is that you have to borrow mom's car and get that repaired (and that will COST money). i warn you do not start that car and try to use it like normal cause you WILL blow the engine that way.
