The abs light is on..under the dash, the fuse is good BUT DOES NOT LIGHT UP with the tester. I did not see any other fuses under the hood...they all tested good. Any ideas?

Problems with question. A) A fuse intact is a good clue, but a fuse never lights up. It can melt but not light up. You are checking fuses. What about the brakes? Have you removed the tires and looked at your brakes? It maybe telling you the truth about old brakes needing a mechanics attention. Good Luck Work Safe

Fuse ok. Then check, brake fluid level. Check speed sensors. check brake pad condition ( if you have a sensor on your pads, not sure what car you have )... if still not working need to have taken in to have ABS modulator checked. You can only do that in shop with special tool.

your computer saw a problem with your abs and shut it down so you now hve regular brakes to get it fixed you have to get the codes scanned and pulled to see what set it off in the first plqce you cant fix anything else until you do this
