2001 Maxima 4 wheel disk. The ABS light is on. The mechanic said it was the drivers rear wheel sensor. I pulled the wheel off and I thought it would just plug in and out...there seems to be a wire...how long is it, how do I change that ABS sensor?

Same car- changed Mass Air Flow unit today. NISSAN says I must reflash the ECU since it's an updated part. Is this true or a scam...they want $85. Seems to run find check engine light is on and now it says Mass Air Flow P0100.

i mean really, some of the questions are just way too in depth ( for instance, " do you know the exact timing degree for a 1998 docante' after bored over 30 thousands, and the ratio of the counter bore stroke........ come on , if your asking these types of questions you should already know the damn answer... or perhaps there is no such beast of a question and you really need to find something else to do. qiut reading repair manuals and coming up with a stupid question to see if any one is right... and if your " really " needing this info then go out and buy a manual.. and read!!!!!!!!!!

Some of the cars that are "dual fuel" donot have the logo. If it does, can I mix the E-85 with regular gasoline too? Or does it have to be empty before I fill up with E-85. ALSO The car has 200,000 miles on it. If I have never used E-85 would it effect its performance if I use it now?

I'm restoring a 1965 Ford Mustang. I've stripped it down to a rolling chassis, and in the process discovered that the floor panels are rusted through in several places. I've also discovered evidence that the car had been in a front-end collision. I wanted to do a lot of the body work myself, but now I'm worried that cutting out the entire floor will cause the chassis to bend. I'm also worried that the chassis may already distorted due to the collision. How do I replace the floor without warping the chassis, and how can I be sure that the chassis is straight?

OK, So I am a High School Student, and I bought a used car after my Subaru was totaled, when I was rearend at a stop light. It is a 1998 Toyota Corrola LE, and it has close to a 100k miles on it, and it seems to be very, very well maintained. That being said, I bought it recently, and here in Oklahoma in the summer, its almost always a 100 Degrees or more everyday. So I never tested the heater. Boy the air conditioner works, but I am not sure about the heater. So it was very cool out this morning, close to 50 Degrees, and I turned on the defroster/heater. It is not a far distance to where I go to school, maybe 10 Mins at best, sometimes 5 Or 6 depending on traffic. But the heater never got hot, or even really warm at all. So This afternoon it was 90 degrees or so out, and I decided to test my heater theory. I turned it full on hot, and tried it for about 5 Mins, and it never got hot. It got semi-warm. But not hot. Is it possible I blew a fuse, or the componets are faulty?

The engine light just turned on and I'd like to get the codes to begin troubleshooting it. I know how to get them off of a honda and I figure there must be a way to get them off of a VW too?

I have a 98 Trans Am and with less than 80,000 miles the engine just went out. Shaft through the radiator. I have talked to 3 other people in my small town alone that have had the same problem with their Trans Ams/Firebirds/Camaros. Anybody else out there have the same problem with these engines.
