first pop off the little triangle at the front of the door up top and the long piece that runs up the back of the window at the top, just pull they will pop off. Next pull the window/lock switches loose, once again just pull up they will pop loose. Next pry the little circle near the door handle out and use a 8MM nut driver/socket to remove it and pull the handle off. Bear with me im doing all this by memory. Next push the 2 exposed push pins one click in then pull them out. At this point you should be able to pull the whole panel off, just start at one corner and pull the panel loose a little at a time watching for interferance. Good Luck

The actual trim on the panel (i.e fabric or leather) is either sewen or glued onto the door panel. Now if your actually referring to the door panel itself:
1.First your going to have to disconnet the battery or make sure the vehicle is off.
2.Remove anything you belive may be screwd into door panel itself ( arm rest, bottom guide light) most of these bolts are coverd by little caps, just pop them off and you'll see the screw. 3.Now the door handle should have a piece of plastic around it, gently tug on it. It is only held in by clips, if u do happen to brake these off not to worry because you can normally find them at Pep boys.
4. By this time the door should pretty much be ready to come out, now what u wanto to do is get a scraper or an actual door panel removal tool (looks kinda like a mini "tunning" fork... or a U shaped spatula) what u want to do is slide this between the door and panel to gently pry against the clips.
5 At this point you will have guide light connector, door window and lock actuators connectors exposed disconnect them.
6.Now gently lift the window so that you can keep the window guides from coming off or breaking. Now ur door panel should be free...

If I understand you wisely, you will get into the motor vehicle ok, it rather is merely one door look after that doesn't paintings? I seem to remember having this way of concern on a '86 Fiesta some years back. It feels like the launch mechanism is indifferent or broken. you will could eliminate the trim panel to get on the lock mechanism. there's a small spring someplace in the linkage, which has a tendency to break. if it is the case, you will in all probability be waiting to locate the spring in the in the door in case you run you arms alongside the backside ingredient. it rather is in trouble-free terms a small spring - on the subject of the size you will locate interior a pen. in case you will locate the old spring, it's going to in all probability be merely the tip broken off. So stretch it somewhat and turn the tip over utilising needle nostril pliers to make a hook (the comparable because of the fact the different end). in case you cant paintings out the place it is going, you may continuously be conscious the different door. A fiddly little activity, yet an extremely low-priced fix!

Disconnect the battery? what retard does that lol. All you do is remove the screws from where you see that needs to be taken out, disconnect the wires connected to the circuit for the power locks/ windows if you have that feature...and voila....piece of cake.
