Why the F*CK would you want to put 20's on a flippen JETTA? I got my girlfriend a 2002 Jetta 1.8 Turbo and I would never, ever, THINK about putting 20's on it, even if they were free! It is supposed to be a sporty compact car... 20's DESTROY performance in every department. It will not stop fast, it wont accel fast, it will turn like a truck, and more than likely rip all your suspension bushing apart within 6 months all while looking like a douche bag.

THE ONLY excuse would be if it was a rarely driven show-only car, and even then a full air suspension setup along with polyurethane bushings, rolled fenders and more than likely cut fender wells would be required to do it *right*
You don't want to LIFT your car at all. A lifted Jetta is the stupidest idea ever. You just want to be able to turn, which will probably require you to lift the front when turning and pulling it off the trailer, and then setting it back down for a show. Thats honestly all the driving you would do.

Not. Streetable.

1st - What year is the Jetta?
Secondly and most important. . . . . don't do it. It won't ride worth a darn. The 20s alone will be adding some stress vehicle, jacking it up an additional 2 inches will stress the hell out of the other drivetrain parts. You'll be changing out suspension parts YEARLY.

Just get a lift kit. Most auto shops can install it for you.

Isn't 20 a little extreme? It might mess up your brakes.
