no fix a flat is like the slime you can get out of the quarter machines, it is designed to just fill in little pin holes no bigger than say a nail would make. when you put the fix a flat in you have to spin the tire to get it to cote the inside of the tire filling in the hole and the it dries like rubber cement. so a slash is too big for it to seal shut even if the tire is still all there

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sidewalls are not repairable. Even if it was a small puncture in the tread, Fix-A-Flat is the worst thing to use on a tire. It's only recommended in severe situations until the tire can be repaired, but I suggest Slime!. You can find it at Autozone and it will repair up to a 1/4 inch puncture in a tire. Fix-A-Flat has chemicals in it that eat away at the inner liner of a tire in as little as 48 hours. Not to mention the mechanic that fixes your tire will probably hate you for life when he gets that stuff in his eyes after breaking the bead of the tire. Regardless, as I said before, sidewalls aren't repairable and you'll be needing a new tire.

no, the sidewall is damaged, and the cords that hold the tire together go thru that area. 2-3 inch cut in sidewall means replacement.

Does it go right through the tire?
If it does, i don't think you can.
But try it out, it just might work!

If the damage is in the sidewall, it is not repairable.
