Maintenance & Repairs - June 2006

The radio says LOCKED not LOC, so I can't use the hold 2 and 3 get a code etc... trick. It also reads error where the odometer should be, and a service engine light. This all happened as soon as I jump started it. Any way to get the radio unlocked without going to a dealer? I can't get anything too happen no matter what button combos I push.

I just replaced the air filter in our Suburban. I don't think it's been changed for 6 years. It seems to be more powerful now. Could this really be the case or am I just dreaming?

my pressures on my gauges check out fine, and the compressor is still good, it is not locked up or nothing, but it want engage. i jumped out the low pressure switch and that did nothing

a can that has only been open for an hour? I've been told those three different timeframes and wonder which is true. I remember seeing it done on Myth Busters, so I know it works...I just don't remember the timeframe of how soon the Coke can be used. Any suggestions?

My moms car is out of control. It is a 2001. She replaced the engine already, and now I think the transmission is going bad, her left back brake is squeaky, and her front two tires are balding. How much would it cost me to A.) Get all the problems looked at and B.) Maybe even fix it.

There is a werid sound and a jerk everytime im driving...it feels like it gettin caught on something and than it frees. Happens more when going up hill. Sometimes my car will not shift out of park unless I shove something into the "shift lock manual release" hole! I think there's a fuse for this but I have no idea where it's at.....can anyone help me out?
