When you go to pick up your custom, personalized license plates at the DMV, do you get two? And how do you transfer your tags? Do you get new tags to put on the new plates?

I currently live in Nevada, but I plan to move back to Arizona early next year to go back to school in Flagstaff. My car registration is about to expire, but I don't want to register in NV because I don't want my insurance to go up. My driver's license is also still the one issued by the AZ MVD. If I add one of my parents or my grandparents to my title (with an AZ address) can I still register my car in AZ without risking a huge ticket? Is there any other way to do this? I am in NV for work, not school.

Car insurance is very expensive where I live, but I am going away to college next year. Since I will be living on campus away from home, I was hoping to switch it to another state.

Here's the deal! My car was hit and by looking at the way the car is damaged, the police confirmed it was truely a hit and run and that I wasnt committing fraud! Now I have a $1000 collision deductible and really dont see why I have to pay that if I wasnt at fault! I spoke to a private insurance agent and he told me that they are able to claim it as uninsured/underinsured driver. So does this guy know what he's talkin about? I would love to save $1000 especially since it wasnt even my fault!

I have had the runarounds with the BMV for years and I am just about to get my license back and this will re-suspend it again and cost me another $400 right after I pay them $325 to get it re-instated. Can anyone help me on a way to fix this? I have no way to show proof of insurance because it was my X wifes vehicle and she will not help me.

My wife and I are going through separation - she has applied for a new tax disc for the car that she drives - this car was bought by me and registered in my name as the registered keeper on the V5 (Log book). When she applied for a new tax disc she also changed the name on the V5 to her name without notification to me or consent from me, I received a letter from the DVLA saying 'thank you for letting us know that you are no longer the registered keeper of this vehicle - so clearly the change has been made by my wife acting as me without my knowing about it.

Where do I stand and what are the possible penalties to my wife for what she has done?

Many thanks

We owe $3000, but cannot pay. the car is worth 3000
We told the bank to reposses the car, They said that they will
just write off the loan, and to take the car to a junk yard.
If they write off the loan, doesn't that mean I have a free and
clear title? If not, How can I take it some where to get rid of
it if I don't have a title. I live in texas, but the bank is in Ohio

I am borrowing my friends vehicle while he is overseas, but I didn't get the title in my name, so I was just curious because I need to insure it soon.

Am getting a Corsa Capitol which is the same as a Corsa Club but with a 'plus pack' included at a good price. The extras are alloys, paint, cruise control, fog lights, which dont come on the basic Club model. However, insurance companies dont have th option for the Corsa Capitol, but the dealers do advertise the car as a Capitol limited ed, so technically its not modified from original spec.... the limited ed car will be clearly worth more than the base model with these extras.. i just dont want to be left out in the cold should the worst happen- *apologies for my ramble- its confusing!* pls help asap :)
