I don't think you do, but it will help with your insurance if you have driver Ed.

Not usually but it sure helps on your insurance costs. Some States are considering making it mandatory. Most now are requiring loneger periods of having the permit before allowing you to take the regular license test (6 months).

That is usually the easier way, but some states do allow parent taught drivers education, especially to those that are home schooled. Check with your states web page.

I don't think that it is required, but it may be helpful. Once you pass the drivers test, then they issue you a license. good luck.

No you don't have to but WAY easier if you do. There's no pressure and its less nerve wracking if you do it in driver's ed.
