Am getting a Corsa Capitol which is the same as a Corsa Club but with a 'plus pack' included at a good price. The extras are alloys, paint, cruise control, fog lights, which dont come on the basic Club model. However, insurance companies dont have th option for the Corsa Capitol, but the dealers do advertise the car as a Capitol limited ed, so technically its not modified from original spec.... the limited ed car will be clearly worth more than the base model with these extras.. i just dont want to be left out in the cold should the worst happen- *apologies for my ramble- its confusing!* pls help asap :)

You do have to be careful that it's not just a dealer special edition, but is a manufacturer model.

So long as it is, you just need to establish the basic model, and advise them of that. JUST BE SURE TO TELL THEM WHATS ON THE INVOICE. / LOGBOOK.

every car that is built wether in the uk or abroad the insurers will have it on there system.example the mondeo edge had extras to the basic model but the insurers still have a group for that car model, every car manufacturer has built some form of limited edition cars, just contact your insurer.

Most companies do not cover "add-ons" so if this vehicle comes from a dealer with the extras on it, take it to your insurer so you know it is fully covered. Calling would be okay but showing is better.
