I know that I want a 4 door with great safety features...I am debating between the Sonata and Elantra....can anybody offer any advice, warnings, suggestions, ect., that may be helpful?

Hi, I have a 1996 hyundai accent 2 door 1.5L and was wondering if anyone knew the proper mpg I'm supposed to be getting. I noticed my gas going down quite fast ever since I got my car... so after a daily week of driving recently I noticed that I only get about 300km per tank. I have heard of other people say that they get 600km per tank on their older hyundai accent vehicles is this true? Any suggestions on how I can increase my mpg or what could be some problems?? Thanks

I am planning to trade my Hyundai Sante Fe in for a car that is better on gas. Will the Hyundai dealership that I originally bought it from give me the best offer on a trade in? I'm not interested in trying to sell it myself. It's a 2006 and I still owe $11,000 on it.

I was looking on Ebay for a Cheap car and i happened to look at a Hyundai Elantra Hatchbook 2002 on Ebay. It looks like it does not have a lot of trunk space, but that is all right with me. I need something that looks a little cool that will get me from point A to B. I am in school and i am working, so I really dont have a lot of time to go looking for cars. But i just need a lot of other people's input before i go ahead and put my trust into Ebay for something that expensive. I would really rather buy from a Official Hyundai dealership, but i am not sure if they offer warranties for used cars.

To me, cars suppose to be good at safety. Therefor compare this two. Hyundai Santa FE vs BMW X5 series. If you see this chart, you will say wow BMW 's Safety technology sucks.. this is for you "deautophile" the one who claims that Hyndai is not close to BMW in technology advances in Safety in the previous question,Why people still thinks that hyundai is a bd car.

as you can see three cars from hyudnai leads the safety technology. They are Sonata, Entourage, and Sante Fe. BMW barely have safe cars... but none of them recieved the highest.

I know they were really one of the crappiest company in the worldback then.... but look at them now... in just 5 years, they are making a great cars. #3 initial quality by J.d. power. the state of the art robots with latest technology for built cars,they test drive every model to 100,000 miles, one of the most advanced safety tech. on the load today, 10 yrs warranty is plus.I hate when people say this company is bad without actually seeing them and test drive, or at least they don't even know about auto brand... and what is happening right now...
From seeing them with concept car, they're definately a BEnz killer. all their concept car is a high tech and looks really better. ANd i even saw it on article says hyundai is better then benz in concept car.

I am looking to buy a used car and have done my homework. I am now looking to buy a 2006 Elantra or Sonata 4 cyl. 16 valve 2.0 or 2.4 ltr. If you have one what do you like about it? Dislike? Is the gas milage really as good as they say? What about your repair bills? How extensive is the warranty.

One other question, do you have a sun or moonroof? Was it put in at the factory or later. Did it work out?

I reciently purchased one and I seem to be having difficulties with driving it. I have always had a 4 cyl and never had problems but realize this is a bigger and heavier car to drive. My question is if you slow down before you hit a hill and then try to speed up again does the the car buck? Like it is having a problem getting into gear? Mine does. Do I need fuel injection cleaner? I know this helped another car I had took care of all that But this is new to me and am weary of putting it in. What do you think?

In April 2006 I bought a 95 Hyundai Accent (2dr) and I have been steadily paying for replacement door handles (inside and out) window tracks and the control panel where the heat/air/radio controls are. We go to the junk yards to obtain these parts and in most cases they are already gone, which tells me that it is a typical, on-going problem with Hyundai.

So my question is: Is this so with the newer models of Hyundai? I love my car but it's a cosmetic nightmare and it's been costing me a slow fortune. I really want a newer Hyundai Accent but I'm not sure it's worth it.
