Hi- so I've been trying to put some xenon bulbs on my 07' Elantra. I got high-beams (H1) for the brights which I installed fine..couple of minutes..no problem. I made the mistake of ordering H7s for the headlights..thinking they would work only to realize that they don't. After doing some research, I guess the '07 Elantra uses H11B bulbs..which are impossible to find. Some people are saying that H11 would work..some say they won't. Now I'm just confused and don't wanna order xenons that aren't even going to work (again). Wondering if anyone who knows something about this can help me out?? Thanks!!

Can i give my hyundai accent more power. I dont mean for street racing or anything like that. I mean just for highway travel. On and off ramps and such. it just seems like the engine is working overtime with no pickup. Is that just the way the car is?

I've driven a compact car for 3 years now and I am ready to move up to a full size sedan, however I have a limit to what I can spend. I was given the option to get a 2006 Hyundai Sonata at an extremely reasonable price. I've heard both good & bad things abt Hyundai, and I am not sure if this would be a smart buy. However it is a beautiful car. Please let me know of your views of this car. Thanks!

Hyundai has a new car coming out in 2008 that is supposed to be in the same league as the GS series Lexus and the G or M series Infiniti. A V-8, 6 speed auto, rear wheel drive luxury sports sedan.

I know they had problems early on, but I'm wondering if those of you with NEWER Hyundai's would share your experience?

I'm considering buying a Hyundai and I REALLY like this new concept sports sedan, the Hyundai Concept Genesis. It's supposed to for around $30,000 . .

If you own a NEWER Hyundai (any model newer than say 2002 or 2003), my question for you is:

Would you buy another Hyundai?
Why? Is it the price?, the value for the money? the quality?Any problems NOT resolved by the dealer?

If you WOULDN'T buy another Hyundai:
why not? is it the dealer service? just a crappy car? What year is yours, and what model

For the past 2 years, my tranny hasn't sometimes been shifting from 1st to 2nd until about 26-28 MPH. After that happens, it goes into failsafe. Now it happens always right after start. I think it could be the pulse generator, because when this problem occurred first 4 years ago, the dealer replaced the pulse generator and it worked fine after that. Also, I wonder if corrosion on the battery can contribute to inaccurate voltage in the transmission. One dealer detected the codes p0740, p0743, p0722 (about 2 years ago) and said it would then need the car a few days to troubleshoot more. Another dealer read other codes (about a year ago), which I don't have yet, and said to replace the transmission. What do you think? Also, am I doing anything to the engine if I drive on 1st up to 26-28 MPH when the tranny switches or if I drive 15-20 MPH in 1st? I don't have an RPM meter, so hard to tell if it goes into the red. Is there anyway to start the vehicle and be immediately in failsafe?

I have a 2002 Hyundai Accent, and about a month ago the rear windshield wiper stopped working. It was right after a big snow and I pulled a lot of ice off of the windshield, so I may have put a lot of stress on it. Help!!! I'm not used to driving in the rain without it!

One of my neighbors bought this car (Azera) that I thought was pretty from afar. Yet when I got closer I found out that it was a Hyundai, which I thought only nearly-homeless people bought because of all the quality issues. How much of an idiot is neighbor an idiot for buying such a terrible car, and worse, they make it seem like it is a "luxury" car...fact check...HYUNDAI! My neighbor should have bought a Lexus or an Acura at the very least, but now I know how trashy he is. I feel especially bad for his wife because now she realizes what trash she married.
