I wasn't aware the Matrix was an SUV, the Mazda 5 and Mazda 3 Hatchback may also interest you then. As for the Tuscon its a very nice small SUV that is good on gas, low in price and will last you for many years. It's small size equals good handling on the road, not sure about for any real off roading.

I have the Tuscon. I love it it's a small SUV but the room is amazing and it drives great. Gas is OK about 20-25 miles per gallon. I highly recommend it and you can't beat the warranty...good luck

I drive a Tuscon 150 miles a day. It gets 24 mpg at 55mph with the defroster of A/C on. 26mpg without. Mines AWD or 4wd, the sticker and car say differently, has traction control which saved my *** a couple of times this winter(it really works well) has a great warranty, I recommend getting the manual transmission, it gives more control. I miss my silverado, but i love the gasmileage.

i in my opinion stress a 2006 Hyundai Tucson. we've not had one single problem with it in the three years we've pushed it. the only element that i might ***** approximately is the gasoline economic device with the 6 cylinder engine, not too good in any respect. I certainly have had numerous acquaintances flow from the Honda CRV to the Tucson and that they have got all had spectacular stories with the Tucson over the CRV. 5 years in the past i might have pronounced to purchase the CRV, however the Santa Fe is now rated larger than the CRV for the 2009 sort 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and the Tucson is a rated somewhat at the back of the CRV. in case your in basic terms difficulty is the gasoline mileage then purchase a CRV it comes with somewhat 4 cylinder motor that's amazingly underpowered, yet you will save lots on gasoline. in case you like reliability for a fragment of the fee of the Honda, then purchase the Tucson. word that i'm not slamming the CRV, yet you get extra on your money in the Tucson. the main considerable element for me while i offered the Tucson became into that it became into lots quieter on the line with wind etc. than the Honda. We got here upon that the HOnda became into extremely noisy. good good fortune.
