Why not throw a Nissan 350Z onto your options list while you are at it. I mean who goes into a car dealership unsure of rather they want a small car, mid-size SUV or full size pickup truck? I would stay away from the Jetta since its kinda expensive for what you get and VW's are pricey to repair and will require repairs after 60K miles. The Mitsu looks nice, but I don't trust them as a brand and they lose value quickly. I wouldn't buy a Tundra unless I worked on a farm or in construction or wanted to haul some motorcross bikes around, its not a commuter vehicle. So, that leaves the Santa Fe and Rav4...hell of a choice there since I love them both. I guess I'd go with the one I could get in my favorite color inside & out and would give me the best price. The warranty doesn't matter since I doubt either vehicle will need it. Both Rav4 and Santa Fe are can't miss mid-size SUV's!!

The new sante fe's look good. They figured out that everyone wanted the Tuson, so they copied it a little and gave it some more room. High JD powers, nice car. Mitzu is crap, the rav 4 is highly rated with consumer reports, but it's a rav 4. not too cool. VW Jetta? unless you're a real VW fan, there isn't much value. Hyundai is OK in my book, We own the Tuson and considered the rav4 heavily. Now my wife wants the sante fe. Looking at it, I see why.

It depends on your needs and wants. If I had to choose, I would choose the Rav4 or Tundra with the biggest engine available but then I'm a speed freak and the Rav4 and Tundra with the biggest motors available are pretty much the fastest accelerating vehicles in their class.
It all boils down to do you want a sedan, a suv or a full sized truck? They are 3 completely different categories with different strengths and weaknesses.
Sedan, easiest to drive and park, best on gas.
Small SUV, not as much social stigma as the full sized truck, but harder to park and much less gas efficient.
Full sized truck, most utility and the highest seating position inspires confidence.

hmm i think i would have to go with either jetta tundra or santa fe.
mitsubishi company i dont trust i heard from many mechanics that they break down after a certain millege. rav4 are tiny cars.
jetta becasue they are always nice compact quick and comfortable cars, the santa fe becasue i remember we had that as a loaner big cars lots of room and very confortable. also warrentys on them are amazing.
the toyota is self explain its a truck which is great for anythign depending which model you get.

I would have to say Toyota RAV4!! They're cheap, GREAT GAS MILEAGE for a seven passenger SUV (2006-07 models are 7 passenger) They are top contender SUVs and they are very maneuverable.

The Santa Fe - no question! I have had mine for almost 3 years and NO problems. There is a reason that they have the best warranty - you may never need it!
