Since the Santa Fe was completely redesigned for the 2007 model year I don't think there are any significant updates to the 2008 model. As Andy said, you can go to the dealer today and get a great deal on the left over 2007 models or if you prefer to wait and pay a few thousand more just give your local dealer a call and tell them to let you know the day they arrive. I personally think the Santa Fe is better looking then the new Veracruz, its a good time to be a Hyundai fan!

The word around the dealership I work at is it will be several weeks, since there is a bunch of 07 inventory at both the ports and the Alabama factory.
