I have a 2003 Envoy XL and the compressor isn't working properly. The heat nor air is working and I can't go the whole summer w/o air. I was wondering if this is an easy fix w/o taking it to the dealer. If so, could you please help me to fix this problem. Don't have the funds at this time but if I have to take it to the dealer, I will have to get an estimate and save for it.

Alot of people say Roush's GT500 Mustang Model Is Better Due To The Uprgraded Handling, But Shelby On The Other Hand Added Up To 500bhp (really only around 472bhp, so its more like a GT almost 500) Honestly, I like The Shelby More, Even Though Roush's Model Beats The Shelby In Performance (Not too badly)

My 2005 Sub. Baja locked on me the other morning while it was running. I am not sure if my son or I hit the lock button, but I thought that there was a safety feature to prevent it from locking while the keys were in the ignition. I know my 2000 Dodge Stratus had this feature, but if you manually pushed down the lock without using the electronic button, it could be overridden. But the Baja do not have an easy lock to manually or accidentallly push down without using the electric button. I would just like to know how to prevent this from occurring again. Luckily, I had a 3rd key in the house and one house door happened to be unlocked. Otherwise I would have been locked out of the house with the car running and no way to get in the car and no way to get to work. From the answers of my previous question, it is obvious that it is not a valet lockout feature that caused this. PLease help!!!

It runs, but when you're cranking it or while it's running, there is a pooping noise coming from it. My auto tech teacher swears I flattened the cam but I say it's the old timing chain because it constantly needs to be reset. What do you think?

I'm considering getting a used Kia Spectra, a 2000 or later model, just as a daily driver to work and stuff. I'm just curious as to how reliable these cars are. I know they've had problems in the 90's, but I'm hoping they've turned things around. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Why is it that people always insist that foreign vehicles are better. GM's 2008 lineup has more vehicles that get over 30 mpg than anyone else. Ford and GM were born in America and should be respected not critisized. And to everyone that says that there are plants opening in America all the time with the foreign vehicles, yeah that may be creating jobs but where do you think all the profits go, that's right, right over to the foreign economy. Wouldn't it be better to have new big 3 plants that not only create jobs but also contribute to the American economy. And to the people that say that while toyota builds new plants in america while the big 3 pack up and go to other countries I think its obvious that they want to stay in america and create jobs here but its kinda hard when you don't have any money with the foreign vehicles attracting so many people with their propaganda. The foreign vehicles are just taking advantage of our free trade policy and that needs stop.

Consumer Reports has a column in their car review section for the Chevrolet Corvette. It does NOT say Z06, the price range is listed as 44k to 69k, and my friend says that just because the one they tested WAS a Z06, that that's the price range for the Z06. To settle the score, please enlighten him for me.

I am a 20 yr old Student (girl) who wants a cheap, sporty girl car :o) Any advice wud be super! ( I really wanted a Vintage mini but was told they arent reliable enough for someone who cant afford a lot of upkeep... or a New Beetle but they apparently are stupidly expensive to run and underpowered??)

Any help would be amazing! Whichever I get, I want to put nice alloys and a spoiler on :o)
