Consumer Reports has a column in their car review section for the Chevrolet Corvette. It does NOT say Z06, the price range is listed as 44k to 69k, and my friend says that just because the one they tested WAS a Z06, that that's the price range for the Z06. To settle the score, please enlighten him for me.

Some dealers are squeezing a grand over sticker price which is a bare bones unit for $76,000. I shouldn't say bare bones because the ZO6 has a ton of niceties that are "standard fare".

Proud to is correct.. the base 07 Z06 is $70,000 US as per Chevrolet's website.. The price starts at $90,485 CAN in Canada

The base model starts at $44,995 US

There is now a rarer z06 called the Ron Fellows Limited Edition Z06 starting at $77,500 US

For 2007, the base 1LZ Z06 Corvette has an MSRP of $70,000. A completely loaded Z06 with 2LZ package, navigation, onstar and chrome wheels is near $78,000.

the corvettes are going up in price every year annd it makes me mad the 2003 corvette lingenfelter is like $59,000 the new zo6 is a lot its over $69,000 just check wikipedia
this chart only goes up to 2004 but you can get an idea of how fast the corvettes price is going up

go to chevrolet .com (or .ca in canada) and do the build and price option and get the final price at the end
i just ran the canadian price at just over $90000
