Alot of people say Roush's GT500 Mustang Model Is Better Due To The Uprgraded Handling, But Shelby On The Other Hand Added Up To 500bhp (really only around 472bhp, so its more like a GT almost 500) Honestly, I like The Shelby More, Even Though Roush's Model Beats The Shelby In Performance (Not too badly)

buy a new mustang gt, build yourself a roush ($20.000) and buy Shelby body convention kit($4.000)

it'll drive like a roush and will look like a Shelby gt500

personally , i don't like the way roush looks, that's why I am building a custom carbon fibre body for my mustang GT. fenders, hood, trunk, doors and side skirts are going to be carbon fibre. front and rear bumpers - utherane.

The Roush is absolutely beautiful and is easier to control, less power than the Shelby but can go faster round a track because it has a slip-defferencial which the Shelby doesn't have.

IF THE ROUSH HAS 500 HP IT IS LIGHTER BY 250 LBS THAN THE SHELBY. THE SHELBY ISN'T THAT GREAT IN MY BOOK IT IS 250 LBS HEAVER THAN THE REGULAR MUSTANG GT. I'M IMPARTIAL TO THE SALEEN SUPERCHARGER--MAKES MORE HP AND TORQUE THAN THE ROUSH. BUILD YOUR OWN MUSTANG IT IS CHEAPER AND YOU CAN PICK AND CHOSE WHAT YOU WANT. WEIGHT IS A TERRIBLE ENEMY OF HANDLING I THINK THE SHELBY MUSTANG IS A DISASTER. THE SHELBY WILL BE ALSO 20K OVER STICKER--NOT WORTH 65K +. BUY A LOADED MUSTANG GT FOR 30K AND USE THE OTHER 35K TO BUILD--WILL HAVE MUCH BETTER RESULT. DO ALOT OF RESEARCH AND BE VERY CAREFUL WHO YOU HAVE DO THE WORK.

I'll take the Shelby. I've always wanted one so i'm not changing now. Although if someone said I could only have the Roush, I wouldn't turn it down or anything, lol

roush is by far the best!! Even with less actual H.P than the 500 it will still obliterate it on the track.

I have no idea why ford is still using solid rear axles on it flagship car. Its like they are still using the tecnology off of the Model-T!!! Take a drive with the Flintstones!!

Personally I wouldnt buy either, you can get alot better cars for the money!
