Is this true? When I got the car the filter was out, but I do have it. Also, if I need to put it back in, I just take the cover off, set the filter in its place and "squish" it down with the cover, right?

My '93 Nissan Sentra 1.6 failed smog check. Here's my readings.

@15 mph

CO2 = 14.9, O2 = 0, HC = 31, CO = .04, NO = 770 (max = 720)

@25 mph

CO2 = 14.9, O2 = .1, HC = 16, CO2 = .02, NO = 773 (max = 774)

PVC = Pass

New sparks and rotor and caps were just installed. I did however run long before changing oil.

Last smog check I initially failed the test. I had the CAT changed and then my readings completely changed with a failed Nitrious Oxide but all other readings improved. Last time I ran a full tank with "Guarantee Pass" additive and took the test again and BARELY passed.

Should I do that again? Should I use higher Octaine Gas? (Been using regular)

Hi,

Being from Sweden, the situation might not be the same to you in the US. However, of all 60's-70's american cars on the used market, the Dodge Dart and Plymouth Valiant is some of the least expensive. I think they look awesome and love their attitude but they are suspiciously inexpensive - why is that?

Do they have a bad reputation, or are they simply really crappy cars? Or did they list a lot cheaper as new cars than other did at the time?

I'm looking at a Bully Dog 5 stage system, but I've been told that I would be better off going with a propane injection system. I want to maintain my fuel mileage for regular driving, but have the extra power available easily when I need it.

Looking to buy an 07 Dodge Caravan - not sure if having no rear heat will be a problem. Live in Nothern Alberta and have fairly cold winters. Still trying to find out if the Caravans come with rear heat - so far the only ones I have seen with rear heat are Grand Caravans.

It seems that when I am trying pop off the door (after unscrewing everything) it is stuck around the window crank (manual) I dont see anything holding it to the door. Any ideas? My main goal is to replace a blown speaker. I cant get to the speaker if I cant take the door off!

Car was running fine, then just died. Engine turns over but there is no spark going to the distributor. We have changed distributor, checked coils and spark plugs....what else is there to do? Hear about engine control module, but not sure where or what that is. Can anybody help?

Hey guys, I have a 1989 Honda Accord LX. Now I know a lot of engine mods are based on fuel injected and only work for fuel injected cars (i.e cold air intakes), but I was wondering if anyone knew of some engine mods that are possible on a carbeurated car like mine. I just want something to give it more HP and TORQUE if possible until i can purchase my new engine for it. Oh and by the way, does anyone know of a good dealer for new engines, cause lets face it, my car only pushes out about 95HP, and i want something that can push out a considerable amount more than that w/o breaking a dent in my pocket if you know what i mean.

I want a car that is powerful and reliable to tow double horse trailer on long journeys. I also need to use the car day to day for school runs etc and in London occasionally. Is there something other than Range Rover and Landcruiser? I want a used car and have between £8,000 and £10,000 to spend.
