I have had a 1.6 petrol mitsubishi carisma for over three years, they are good around the town car but very underpowered. I have had no problems with it in the time I have had it.

Sadly, they are quite possibly the dullest car ever to bore the planet.
The irony being, they're actually really quite reliable. But sadly, performance is lame, handling is stodgy, looks are awful, and frankly a Mondeo or Mazda 6 kicks it well and truly into next week in every possibly way and demostrates that a family 5 door can be good looking and fun to drive.

Frankly - it makes ditchwater seem interesting.
Quality is very iffy - made in the old Daf factory in Holland where the majority of the workers are stoned most of the time. If you are old enough to remember the Daf you'll know what I mean.
Once described by Jeremy Clarkson as even duller than the Vauxhall Vectra!

The most inappropriately named car ever! Apart from anything with the words 'Diesel' and 'Sport' in its name, obviously.
Unless it's MEGA cheap (£500-£1000), you can do better.
