Do you feel that Pontiac quit making cars after the move to the "corporate engine"?

Has anyone heard of a Boxster engine being placed in a older 911>

I know it's water cooled versus air-cooled, and it can be done. I am curious to see if it has been done. Like a 2.5L or 2.7L

Does anybody out there drive a 7th generation Corolla (1993-1997)? I am planning on buying a 7th generation Corolla, because I am strangely attracted to them, I know its weird but I like the overall styling of the cars. What type of mileage should I look for in these cars? Should I buy one with under 70K miles? When do they start encountering problems?

will i waste more gas if i put 17" rims and 205/40 tires on my civic that comes with 14" 185/35 tires on it???

and if i switch back to the smaller size later will it make a diff on my gas??

is there anything else I need to know about financing a car if im turning 18 june 1st? Im putting down roughly 2600 $ and have a checking acct in my name, I make about 450 $ a week before taxes and will be at my job 1 year and 2 months when I plan to finance on my birthday. There is bad shaking in the front of the car all the time but espically when stoping it needs to be aligined but this seems like more than that the tires are not that old.
