I have on 05 F-150. just wondering if its worth buying programmer and which one

All power programmers are doing essentially the same thing. They are changing the computer program that came from the factory to settings they determined put more horsepower and torque to the rear wheels. There are many different brands sold. Just look at what you want it to do versus the different ones on the market. Most for gasoline engines require the use of premium fuel to get the advertised results. Most work much better in combination with other bolt-on modifications like the low restriction intake air systems and exhaust systems. Plan on spending six hundred to a thousand dollars to get the whole package from a name brand source. If you do all three you can add 100 HP to a Triton V8.
I run a 2005 F350 Super Duty Power Stroke diesel with these same mods and get 175 HP gain and 280 Foot pounds of torque.
