Buying a 1993-1997 used Corolla?

Question

Does anybody out there drive a 7th generation Corolla (1993-1997)? I am planning on buying a 7th generation Corolla, because I am strangely attracted to them, I know its weird but I like the overall styling of the cars. What type of mileage should I look for in these cars? Should I buy one with under 70K miles? When do they start encountering problems?

This is a great car in general, (but I did not think that their styling was special at all. 70,000 miles is just a good start for such a car unless it was really abused. Predicting gas milage is difficult because so much depends on the driver. But it should be better than most others.
