i got it fixed recently but will anything else need to be fixed immediately following?

thank you so far, but the light isnt on anymore...i actually have been driving around with that light on for a few months, but i recently hit the hardest snow bank and thats what made my car shake and become hesitant and auto zone said its my egr system...i was told they had to replace the entire thing! which ran me about 127.54...was that too much?

EGR is just the exhaust return. Chrysler/Dodge is infamous for this sensor malfunctioning. Generally when the light comes on all they do is reset it. For this they charge you $50 to $100 dollars. If you just had it fixed and it doesn't appear to be a problem, I'd just drive your car and ignore the light. I had a Dodge Dakota that kept tripping the light and I drove for years with the EGR light on. If you do keep taking it in they should not charge you each time if it is just a faulty sensor.

The egr is an expansive part, also check to make sure the spark plugs are not fouled out. because the egr was bad it could have made your car's computer compensate either really rich or really lean, also make sure to have your suspension system checked out for any possible damaged done buy hitting the snow bank
