I cant find this particular casting #.

This is the # on the block? Looks more like the casting # off the head.

you have no idea what it came out of?

Maybe if your lucky it will be an old 292, I have one of those in an old 66 flatbed, I would put it against any factory 350 any day, the old 235 in my 54, and my 250 in my 78 that i have now have been great engines though not near the power of that old 292
