On a 2000+ Model Mitusbishi Eclipse, a GT is a turbo right? I know from 99 down a gst is.

2000 and up are not turbocharged.

Turbos only came on Eclipses from 1989 through 1999 on the GST and GSX (all wheel drive) models. The engine was a 4G63. That engine basically is now in the Mitsubishi Evos. And now the newer eclipses Generation 3 (2000-2005) and Generation 4 (2006+) GTs have V6s in them. No turbos. You can however buy turbo kits for them. I would love to see Mitsubishi bring back the turbo on the eclipses but I doubt that will happen.

The 2000+ models are non-turbo V6 engines. 95-99 GSX is a 4G63 2.0 turbo AWD with a Mit. engine, the GST is also 4G63 2.0 turbo engine but front wheel drive. However the GS and RS models are a Chrysler 420A 2.0 engine both are non-turbo front wheel drive. GS models have power locks and windows and upgrade seats.

2000 and up are V6s and non turbo charged. 99 and down goes as follows
GSX all wheel drive turbo charged 2.0 motor
GST front wheel drive turbo charged 2.0 motor
GS front wheel drive Non turbo 2.0 motor
RS front wheel drive Non turbo 1.8 motor
All four types are 4 cylinder
None of the 2000 and ups have turbos (stock that is)

2000 - 2002 are not turbo charged, but in 2002 they did come out with a gts which is turbo charged...

2000 and up are not turbocharged eclipse is like the base model and the GT is like a fancier one an the 99 down are GSX not gst and they aer turbocharged and AWD i thunk
