i read alot a about cars and hopefully will be getting on a machanic course soon and it seems alot of people when modding/tuning there cars seem to swap certen parts of there cars with higher model parts eg fiesta 1.3 with fiesta rs turbo parts so im just wundering if my 1992 escort 1.8 lx would benerfit from some escort cosworth parts if so which ones and why would be very greatful for any feedback #

99 malibu sometimes when you go to crank the car it will start and immediately cuts off,theft system lite is blinking and until it stops blinking it wont crank,,,,now what do i do..can a hot wire be ran to the fuel pump to momentarily overide the theft system to start the car can some wires be cut and bypass the system to stop this from happening, i just want the thing to crank and go....thankyou...

Having trouble with idleing, also backfireing really bad. Trouble starting. sounds like its running on 3 cylinders, only 35 thousand oringinal miles. any suggestions?

They were all working fine but all of a sudden have all stopped working at the same time. There is no noise and no movement. The manual is of no help whatsoever. I had initially thought it may be a blown fuse but can find no fuse for this purpose according to the manual. Help! I find it hard to imagine that 4 motors would be cactus at the same time. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

i bought a ford 350 diesil with a e40d tranmission for my husband nyto fimd out i had been taken for a ride the tran had a fire and all the wires have been burned along with tran i have gotton a new tran but i canot get the wiring harness forthe tran under the body. i was wondering if yu could find me a color code wiring gram for the nutraul safty switch or any kind of wire diagram for the tran we have gotten it to turn ove but cannot get it to fire please help me if you can

I want to know which would be a better choice to go with I don't really drive with that many people and I like the 2 door a lot but i also like the 4 door and the 2 door is lighter so it should be faster for racing but the 4 door i heard has a stiffer suspension n its also bigger so that means more space especially in the back but with the 2 door i heard you can fold down the seats if you want to do anything and remove the plastic thing in the middle i'm confused....

I'm 16 and my parents and I are considering buying a Toyota Yarus as my first car. I like its looks and I've ready many good reviews. But living in New Hampshire I've been wondering if it handles well in snow. It has such tiny tires it doesn't seem like it would hold up. Anybody else know?
