How does fuel economy change with speed? I'm specifically wondering about how the MPG of a Dodge Stratus four door changes with speed but I'd be curious about any vehicle. I'd especially be interested comparing engine types (gasoline, diesel, rotary, steam...).

i was in a accident. my driver door is badly bent.the wheel should be be straight is slightly turned to the left going out. my dad took the wheel off 2 determine the axle is not broken. the steel arm is bent. he said he would have to try to straighten it back out. but he said its steel its going to be real hard to bend straight. please tell me its fixable.

Why does the light come on?We put an oil press gauge on the car and at idle the oil press is 7psi but any rpm above idle the oil press is very high 60psi

i have a 1991 dodge dynasty with the 3.3l and i recently found out that i need to purchase the hoses running to and from the fuel rail but autozone says its a dealer part and they want 300 bucks for it (i could buy a used motor with the hoses on it for that!), anyone know where i could order such an item over the net (i looked on ebay and at jcwhitney but came up with nothing). thanks!

... the the HEET I've put in? Having added fuel injector cleaner, any chance this will clean oxyen sensor (Thee complaintant on the computer printout: Fuel mixture) and catalytic convervter? It at least runs better now with new pipe and flex from engine to cat converter.
I also get a knock-knock-knock when I do hard turns: What is this sypmtomatic of? Power Steering going out, or just M&S tires?
Can this car have ANY kind of tow hitch put on it?
I admit, I enjoy watching the whites of my wife's eyes when I put the metal to the medal. (For some reason, it also closes her mouth.)

Ok, I will change my oil, and after 2000 miles the oil level would drop and the engine light sometimes just comes on. This happen almost every 2000 miles after oil change.

I have 2000 VW Jetta 5speed if this helps.

Even when I park my car in the garage over days, I do not see any puddle. I think my car drinks oil.

Book says not to burn it, just 87 octaine, or will just pinging. But put some in by mistake, and runs better! Around town, anyway - Got a plug that gets black quick, oil, I think.
Yet so old, blow -by must be significant - Would 91 help?
Or would making it into a minisize by leaving it on RR tracks help?

I had my car towed to the mechanic yesterday (thank god for AAA) with the following problem:

power steering not working, battery light on, warm engine (not overheating but VERY close to the red zone)

The shop boy who gave me a ride home said this sounds like a broken serpentine belt, but he said he was pretty sure that belt doesn't control the water pump in a '96 Grand Am SE so he thought the warm engine *might* be a different problem.

Does anyone know whether or not this is true? If it's just the belt, then my repair should be affordable -- but if there's ANOTHER issue...I don't know.

we recently got my truck running, my friends dad got it in time and it runs fine but the idle adujstment on the carb is either high or too low. I think he turned it this far to compensate for being a couple teeth off. check it out, what do you think? There is plenty of oil in the steering filter and the noise sounds very loud when I turn the wheel. Sounds like gravel crounching.
